Intra-uterine Insemination (IUI) is a relatively simple technique which involves the introduction of prepared sperm directly into the uterus at the time of ovulation.

IUI is used when the woman is fertile, but pregnancy cannot be achieved through normal intercourse. It is suitable for a number of categories of patient including: -

Outstanding Success Rates - Sperm available immediately

The latest information on national average success rates (DI National Data Statistics 1st January 2007 - 31st December 2007 Live Birth Rates All Ages www.hfea.gov.uk) ranges from 10.3% to 12.5% per cycle according to patient age.

Bridge's 2009 pregnancy rates for patients under 35 are 34%
