Looking for Donated Sperm?
We can assist you! The Bridge Sperm Bank has now been incorporated into The London Sperm Bank to give our patients a wider range of choice and, in many cases, more extensive donor information.
The London Sperm Bank is the largest sperm bank in the UK with over 100 donors from a variety of cultures, religions and sections of the community. It offers a diverse cultural mix of donors, some with degrees, MBAs and PHDs and from a variety of professions from biologists to chefs to solicitors and police officers. The men attending the London Sperm Bank are decent, committed individuals who give up their time, without getting paid, to donate their sperm to help women looking to conceive.
What our new sperm bank arrangements offer
- A diverse cultural mix of donors
- Donor selection by education, religion, occupation or interests
- Local UK donors who are traceable and accountable. Your child can find out the donor’s identity when he/she reaches 18
- A regulated and licensed sperm bank which adheres to HFEA guidelines
- Donor sperm that is free from disease, genetic disorders and that has undergone a six month quarantine period
- Sperm donors that are committed to the programme and to helping women who need donor sperm whether that is due to infertility or having no male partner
- Affordable donor sperm without any hidden costs
- Easy access – all the information about our donors can be seen online
Once you have ordered your sperm and you are ready to start, treatment takes place at Bridge, where we combine a friendly and professional team and advanced facilities with some of the best success rates in the country. Treatment can take place without a wait at affordable prices.
How do I Start?
We recognise that finding a suitable donor is one of the most important considerations of your treatment. We would suggest that you consider carefully the physical characteristics of your close family, other children and partner (if applicable) when choosing your donor so that the baby fits well in your family. We encourage you to discuss your choice with your family and a counsellor, particularly if you would like to use a donor from a different racial background than your own but respect our patient’s wishes in these matters.
If you have found a donor in the catalogue that you like, the ideal first step is to register as a patient with Bridge. This means coming here for an initial consultation to discuss your treatment options. Once your treatment has been planned, you can then revisit the catalogue and purchase your donor sperm.
It is possible for you to buy your donor sperm before coming to Bridge for your consultation but you must then set up your first appointment within four weeks of your order and will then have up to three months to start your treatment.
If you are already a Bridge patient, please contact Admissions on 020 7089 1449 to arrange your treatment dates. When you are ready, you can then choose your donor following the steps below.
